Included in the tourOptional service not includedSailing towards Victoria Island
From Puerto Pañuelo, opposite the Llao Llao Hotel, the boat crosses Nahuel Huapi Lake in about 40 minutes to Victoria Island, the largest island in the lake. Much of the journey is done on deck, which offers the best views of the Andes Mountains.
Anchorena Port and Toro Beach
The landing is at Puerto Anchorena. From there, a roughly one-hour hike along trails through native flora and fauna leads to Playa del Toro. The sand is volcanic, a characteristic dark gray, and the rock walls feature cave paintings by the indigenous peoples who once inhabited the area.
The Arrayanes Forest in Quetrihué
Back on board, the journey continues to the tip of the Quetrihué Peninsula, where the arrayán forest grows. The quetri tree has cinnamon-colored bark, smooth and cool to the touch, and white flowers in summer. What's exceptional is not the tree itself, but its concentration: here it forms a pure, mature forest, something rare because it usually appears mixed with other species. A wooden walkway leads through the forest for about 45 minutes.
The transfer between Bariloche and Puerto Pañuelo is not included: it must be arranged separately or you must make your own way there. The port tax and the entrance fee to the National Park are also not included and must be paid in cash on the day at the port.

No. The boats depart from Puerto Pañuelo, 25 km from the city center via Avenida Bustillo. Transportation is arranged separately with pick-up from a list of hotels, or you can get there on your own. If you don't have your own transportation, it's a good idea to add this to your booking.

The forest is located at the tip of the Quetrihué Peninsula and can also be reached on foot or by bike from Villa La Angostura, but it's about 12 km of trail each way. This excursion eliminates the need for water access and also includes Victoria Island, which is otherwise inaccessible.

The boats have cafeteria service; on Victoria Island there are basic options, and in the Arrayanes Forest there's a tea house. Meals are not included, so you can eat there or bring your own food.
-
Do we have to pay a boarding fee and entrance fee to the National Park?
Yes, neither is included and both are payable in cash at the port on the same day. We will confirm the boarding fee when you book. You can check the current park fee at the official website of Nahuel Huapi National Park.

No. The tour departs regardless of weather conditions. It will only be rescheduled in the event of strong winds on the lake, and trails may be closed by order of the National Park or the boat operator.
